Dan Henderson injured! Whole UFC 151 canceled!

Its once again proved to be correct in the MMA world when it comes to rumors, and the "darkest" suspicions have realized. But if you think it can not be worse than the injury of Henderson, you were wrong. Full UFC 151 was canceled, and the reasons are partly Dan snapping knee ligament (MCL), and Jones's rejection of the first alternative.

“This is the lowest point in my eleven-year career as the UFC President. For the first time in 11 years, we are going to cancel an event. UFC 151 is being canceled. Henderson tore his MCL and he tried to train on it. There was nothing we could do to save the fight.”

Henderson was forced to cancel the match, and Sonnen took on the challenge 8 days ahead of a potential meeting. "He really wanted to do it," said White, who had planned to announce the match in this appearance - but Jones refused.

White revealed that Greg Jackson told to Jones that accepting the match with Sonnen would be the biggest mistake of his career.

“ Greg Jackson is a weirdo! Greg Jackson told Jon Jones that taking a fight against Chael Sonnen on eight days notice would be the biggest mistake of his fighting career and he shouldn’t take the fight. We put a lot of money into this card. We have TV ads, we have billboards, but this is a selfish decision and disgusting decision by Jones…I am glad Jones is rich, but other guys on the card were depending on this fight to happen to feed their families.”

White added that him and Lorenzo Fertitta are disgusted with Jones, and called Sonnen a lunatic for accepting the match no matter when and where.

“As much as as he’s won, and all the things that he’s accomplished in a short amount of time, he’s been a champion that hasn’t been very popular. I don’t think this is going to do wonders for his popularity. Me and Lorenzo are disgusted. I don’t know why a guy who was a world champion and considered by many to be the pound-for-pound best wouldn’t fight anybody. It’s baffling to me. I’ve never seen it before. Being a fight promoter, and being in the business that we’re in, you can’t make somebody fight. I can’t make you fight. You’re either a fighter, or you’re not. This is what we all do for a living. I have a building here in Las Vegas that 250 people have been busting their ass, working hard, to promote this fight. Not just for Jon Jones, but for everyone on this card. You know what? Good for you Jon Jones. You’re rich and you’ve got some money, and you don’t need to take this fight. But there’s a bunch of guys on the undercard that this is how they feed their family, and this is how they make a living. And the UFC has spent [expletive] of money to promote this fight. I can’t make you fight, but it’s probably not a good idea to not do it.”
